Push Care Knee Brace
The Push care Knee Brace has been updated. The brace offers compression around the knee joint and supports the patella which improves the sense of stability and users experience pain relief. The fasteners allow compression to be individually adjusted. Users will be aware of the comfortable support this offers and thus be encouraged to attempt more active movement.
The use of high quality, elastic materials and silicone applications on the inner surfaces of the brace ensure the brace fits perfectly and also maintains its position.
The most important improvements to the Push care Knee Brace include the following features:
1. Effective support for the patella
The horseshoe shaped support element provides support to the patella on both sides. This patella support stabilises the patella and eases the tension on the patellofemoral joint. The element is specifically shaped to allow the patella free upward movement when the thigh muscles contract. This allows the natural movement of the patella during bending and stretching.
The patella support has a recess on the patellar apex as a result of which no unwanted compression is exerted on the knee tendon.
2. Easy open in-step
Osteo-arthritic complaints can mean it is difficult to bend the knee. This can cause problems trying to put a brace on. The open construction of the upper part of the brace allows the user to easily step into the brace. The brace can then simply be pulled into position and closed.
3. Wider size range for upper leg
The open construction in the area of the thigh allows a great deal of adjustment. This means a vast variety of thigh sizes can be catered for. This latest feature means a properly fitting brace is guaranteed.
